Groninger is an easy to grow, reliable and extremely productive variety of brussel sprout.
An ideal choice for first timers or pros. The medium to small sprouts form a tight head and maintain a delicate, sweet flavor.

Growing Brussel Sprouts from Seeds
For an early crop start seeds indoors in the earliest part of spring.
Or direct sow seeds outdoors in late Spring after last frost. Sow seeds directly into rich soil in full sun with abundant moisture.
Cover seed with 2-3cm of fine soil and keep moist during germination. When seedlings are about 5cm tall indoors, thin to 5cm apart or transplant to individual pots. Transplant seedlings outdoors after hardening off, when danger of serious frost has passed. Space plants 50-60cm apart.
Harvest sprouts from bottom of plant up as heads mature. Brussel sprouts are best harvested after light frost.
