An extremely vigorous and adaptable variety that produces plants that have great disease resistance.
These Broccoli Belstar seeds have a certified organic coating which makes sowing easier.
Growing Broccoli from Seeds
Broccoli Belstar can be planted in spring or late summer. It has an excellent ability to germinate in warm weather, but just like any other broccoli, Belstar doesn’t do well in hot temperatures so plants should be protected from extreme heat.
Broccoli needs well-drained soil with plenty of organic matter. Plants need plenty of water to ensure good flower head formation. Mulch around the plants to keep the soil cool and prevent weeds. Ready for harvesting after 120-150 days.
