How to grow Agastache Seeds
Agastache plants grow best in well-drained but moist soils and in full sun to some morning shade. Agastache plants can bloom from June to October. Sow Agastache seeds directly outdoors in a prepared site. Do not cover the Agastache seeds but press them into the soil firmly. Germination will take up to 7 days typically. In colder climates, Agastache seeds can be grown as annuals with good performance the first year.
The Agastache flowers are excellent for cutting. The entire plant is strongly licorice scented, and the edible flowers can be fun to use as a garnish or sprinkle into salads.
